A bit about Bill
Bill Burke began his career as a bricklayer in Western Australia, and has built a dynamic and specialized business that has prospered in Australia and internationally for 30 years.
He established Glass Block Construction (Aust) Pty Ltd in 1980 and has spent more than 20 years travelling around the world increasing his knowledge of the glass block industry while constantly sourcing new, modern glass block designs.
Bill was instrumental in developing the unique glass block installation system known as Ezylay. Ezylay is a quality system designed for installing glass blocks allowing improved accuracy and speed of laying glass blocks, while maintaining the aesthetic qualities.
Ezylay is the only product of its type in Australia and Bill holds patents for Ezylay systems in 85 countries. Having grown the business from a sole operator, Bill now has a team of experts around Australia providing professional advice and services to a wide range of architects, builders and home renovators. Bill has become renowned for his expertise in the installation of glass blocks in Australia, Asia and Europe.
