Damp Proof is a waterproofing admixture for mortar. Damp Proof is a stearate-based product that mixes easily with water and reacts with the cement to produce insoluble and water repellent stearate compounds. These compounds are deposited throughout the mortar and the capillary ducts, increasing resistance to water penetration.
