Glass Block Constructions is the operating entity that handles all of the local sales and installations in Perth, but is part of a group that has a superb international reputation.
Glass Block Managing Director Bill Burke identified a need for a fully engineered, quality system specifically designed for installing glass blocks. A system that improved accuracy and greater speed in the laying of glass blocks, while maintaining their aesthetic qualities.
The products are installed using the internationally marketed Ezylay product range. Launched in 1988, the demand for the Ezylay system quickly grew from just its Western Australian market to expand into all major Australian cities through a network of distributors who recognised the benefits and practicality of the system.
Glass Block Technologies International (GBTI) is the international marketing representative for Ezylay Glass Block Systems, now available across Australia and in neighbouring and numerous international markets, offering the advantages of the system to the building and construction industries throughout the world.
Since its development Ezylay has:
- been tested by the NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) approved Schlegel laboratories
- patent applications have been lodged in over eighty-five countries
- sales in the domestic market have soared
- an international recognition that is rapidly spreading.
